A Windermere address does not always mean the Town of Windermere. Many homes with a Windermere mailing address sit outside the town limits in unincorporated Orange County, which affects which rules and services apply. Confirm the jurisdiction by parcel.

Homestead is filed with the Orange County Property Appraiser by March 1, and Save Our Homes resets when a home sells. On a long-held luxury home, the difference between the seller’s tax bill and yours can be large.
